Railway Recruitment Board is refunding the application fee amount for those candidates who have successfully attended the CBT 1st Phase of RRB for Group D vacancies, Loco Pilot, Technician and other posts. The CBT was conduct in the month of October 2018 after which the board started the process of the fee refund. The process of refund was started by RRB in the month of December 2018.

Many candidates couldn’t get their money back due to some technical problems and wrong bank details entered by them such as wrong account number, wrong IFSC Code of the Bank Branch, filling up customer ID in place of account number etc.  

  • RRB has extended the Fee Refund date till 20th January 2019 for notification CEN 01/2018.

RRB Group D 1st CBT Fee Refund

Every year the application fee charged for the RRB Loco Pilot application forms was INR 100 for General/ OBC and INR 40 for reserved categories. This time, the board increased the fee amount to INR 500 for Gen/ OBC and to INR 250 for reserved categories.

Later, the board made it very clear that the extra application fee amount taken will be refunded after the conduction of 1st phase CBT.

रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड उन उम्मीदवारों के लिए आवेदन शुल्क राशि वापस कर रहा है जिन्होंने RRB लोको पायलट के CBT 1st चरण में सफलतापूर्वक भाग लिया है। CBT का आयोजन अक्टूबर 2018 के महीने में किया गया था जिसके बाद रिफंड की प्रक्रिया RRB द्वारा दिसंबर 2018 के महीने में शुरू की गई थी।

उम्मीदवार द्वारा दर्ज गलत बैंक विवरण भरने के कारण उन्हें अपना पैसा वापस नहीं पाया। इसी कारण RRB ने शुल्क वापसी की तारीख 20 जनवरी 2019 तक बढ़ा दी है।

  • उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे इस अंतिम मौके का उपयोग करें और सुनिश्चित करें कि उन्होंने इस बार बैंक विवरण सही ढंग से दर्ज किया है।
  • जिन उम्मीदवारों का रिफंड लेनदेन गलत बैंक खाते के विवरण के कारण विफल हो गया है, उन्हें SMS के माध्यम से रिफंड की विफलता के बारे में सूचित किया जाएगा।
  • इन उम्मीदवारों को अपने बैंक खाते के विवरण को सही करने के लिए RRB की आधिकारिक वेबसाइटों पर एक बैंक खाता सुधार लिंक प्रदान किया जाएगा।

  • Candidates whose refund transaction has failed due to incorrect bank account details will be intimated regarding the failure of refund through SMS.
  • To facilitate these candidates to correct their Bank Account details, a Bank Account Rectification Link will be provided on the official websites of RRBs.
  • Once you submit the bank details, further editing of bank details is NOT permissible and RRB shall not be responsible for further failure of refund.

First of all, you need to visit the website of respective RRB. For example, if you have applied under Chandigarh region, then visit the website of RRB Chandigarh.

  • Go to the “News and Updates”.
  • Click on the link available there for Correction of Bank Details for RRB Loco Pilot Fee Refund.
  • Click on the link.
  • Make amendments in the bank details.
  • Enter right IFSC Code and other details.
  • Submit the details.
