The National Career Service (NCS) is a 5-year mission mode program launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on 20th July, 2015. Managed by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, its aim is to help people in India find jobs, get training, and receive career advice. The NCS connects job seekers with employers and offers guidance through its online portal, career centres across the country, and employment exchanges in every state.

The online portal is a one-stop spot for job-related services. People can search for jobs, find career info, get advice, and even find local services like drivers or plumbers. Job seekers, employers, trainers, counsellors, service providers, and even households can sign up on this portal.
